The tour will be run by Leila Kean, a ghost sign enthusiast from Edinburgh (@edinburghghostsigns). Leila has planned an excellent route that takes in some of Edinburgh’s interesting and beautiful ghost signs and she will share some of the social and historical context behind the signs. The tour will begin in Edinburgh Old Town, winding through some of the historic streets such as Victoria Street and Fleshmarket. We will then head into the new town and down Leith Walk (full of ghost signs and interesting shop fronts) and finish at Leith Theatre.
The route will cover approximately 3 miles on foot so please only book if you feel comfortable with this.
